MARBLE INLAY TABLE TOP Marble “Inlay work” is the ancient art which can be seen in Taj Mahal. It is a preserved traditional art which can be found in many Mughal monuments too. This was known as PIETRA DURA. Pietra dura is called Parchin Kari or Parchin Kari in the Indian Subcontinent. (Pietra= Stone,Dura= Hard) The Italians used a classic art form. From 1630 onwards PIETRA DURA saw on moveable, used in small kinds of stuff as decorating panels, dining table tops, coffee table tops, floorings which are used in restaurants, corridors, villas, home decoration.
